May 25, 2016 (Kampala):
The beliefs and experiences we assume to be the province of Christianity do not, in fact, belong to Christianity alone: The inspiration of texts that we attribute solely to the Bible is not a property of the Bible alone. It is a property of the Cosmos. The joy, peace, hope, and love we experience in Christianity are properties of the religion, indeed, but not of it alone. They are properties of the Cosmos. The theanthropic images of God we find in the Bible and in Jesus of Nazareth are truly valid in those particular instances, but they do not exclusively belong there. They, too, are properties of the Cosmos at large.
